"Boiling Water"

A few weeks ago I attended a little gathering held by an older gay man. Latter on during the night a conversation started about how early the kids are coming out now. Someone made a statement saying that "Being gay is a learned behavior." Needless to say that his family are gay bashers and would beat a gay man's ass the first chance they got (so he goes say). Will somebody tell me if they learned how to be gay? Being gay is not a behavior nor is it a choice. It's just who we are. But he really got under my skin that night simply because it's people like him that make the rest of the GOOD gay GENTELMEN look bad.
