Well this is my first post. Never thought I would be doing something like this being that the only time I read is if I really have to. You know like a book for a report that is do. The instructions on how to set up this blog. The im's and text messages I receive daily, And the time I took out to proof read what I just typed...lol...This is gonna be fun...

That is a quot that I wrote after I accepted who I was (A Black Gay Man). Growing up in a small town in Alabama, I found it very hard for me to be me. You see I grew up in a town where every-body knew evey-body. My teachers either taught my dad or went to school with him. A lot of my classmates was kin to me somehow and being GAY was the last thing I wanted people to know about me. Doing that left me uncertain as to who I really was. I ended up going to a historical black college and I began to explore myself not knowing anything about the lifestyle. This is where I met my best friends of 11yrs now and for the first time I feel like I can start being me.

If you saw me and talked to me you would have never guessed that I did the things I did growing up. I moved to Atlanta at the tender age of 20 and I have been here every since.
